Powerhouse Museum

Sharp Corporation of Australia has been one of the major sponsors of the Powerhouse Museum (PHM) for the last few years. PHM is one of Australia's largest and most popular museums, and is located in Darling Harbour, Sydney. It hosts a diverse collection of objects which includes history, science, technology, design, industry, decorative arts, music, transport and space exploration.

Sharp provides PHM with the latest technology to educate the public via their exhibitions and public programs.

Minjerribah Moogumpin Elders-in-Council

Sharp Corporation of Australia provides continuous support via donating various office equipments and other products to the Minjerribah Moorgumpin Elders-in-Council, an indigenous community located in Stradbroke Island. In turn, the Elders-in-Council was able to provide support, literature and information to inform the local community.

The Minjerribah Moorgumpin Elders-in-Council, are involved with all community organisations on Stradbroke Island including schools, mining companies and all government departments. The aim of the Elders is to promote community awareness of Aboriginal and traditional heritage and to provide support to the under privilege Aboriginal community.
