We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Administrative Assistant to join our Business Planning Team located in Huntingwood.
The key objectives of this role are to produce accurate and timely market research, analysis and reporting for the Business Planning Unit as well as the provision of efficient administrative support.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Market Share Analysis & Reporting
Report preparation and analysis for Budget Preparation
Budget Planning Coordination
Profitability analysis
Production, Sales and Inventory reporting
Liaison and negotiation with Sharp Head Office Japan and Factories on production and shipping related enquiries
General Administration
Essential Criteria:
- 2-3 years proven experience in a similar role
- Ability to fluently speak, read and write in Japanese
- Intermediate to Advanced level of MS Excel, Power Point & Word
- Exceptional communication, organisation and negotiation skills
- Good understanding of forecasting and stock control
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability researching and reporting on Market Data
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi task and work toward strict deadlines.
Experience with SAP will be an advantage but not essential.
This role would suit an individual with a keen interest in the product procurement process and the analytical work associated with forecasting and production planning.

Reporting to the National Credit Manager, the role involves assessing applications referred by third party introducers. This role is responsible for the completion of complex balance sheet interpretation, analysis and review ad subsequent credit assessment decisions.
A key part of this role is to build a rapport with these introducers and maintain and improve our customer service to an agreed service level that meets both internal and external customer expectations. Accuracy and compliance are vital to meeting these goals, whilst contributing to a team environment.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Assess applications for equipment finance
- Assess financial statements and make appropriate commercial lending decisions
- Build mutually beneficial relationships with our third party introducers
- Liaise with and assist other departments
- Structure risk to minimise losses
- Attend to internal and external customer enquires
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum of 3 years analysis experience in commercial lending, rentals/leasing, chattel mortgage or commercial hire purchase
- Lending experience must be focused on commercial clients with possibly complex legal and trust structures
- An understanding of legal title flow, PPSA and security perfection
- A strong understanding of credit, settlements, privacy and compliance and AML.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications, finance or accounting preferred
- Well developed problem solving, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build rapport quickly
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a high volume business area
- A professional attitude and be a team player
- Self motivated
- Ability to accept and adapt to change
