Speedy Copying with SOPM

The AR-5516’s Scan Once/Print Many (SOPM) function stores a scanned original into memory to quickly produce up to 999 copies of each page at a continuous copy rate of 16 cpm. Moreover, its quick first copy time of 7.2 seconds saves valuable time when performing multiple short-run jobs.

Electronic Sorting
For further convenience, an Electronic Sorting function allows the AR-5516 to automatically collate multiple sets of copies in page order without the aid of a sorter.

Timesaving 40-Sheet SPF (option)
For copying productivity, the AR-5516 can be equipped with the optional AR-SP10 Single Pass Feeder (SPF). It eliminates the tedious task of placing pages by hand and allows you to automatically make copies from a stack of up to 40 originals.

Versatile Editing Functions
The AR-5516 comes standard with such image-editing functions as XY Zoom, Dual Page Copy Mode, Rotation Copy, Margin Shift, Edge/Centre Erase, and 2-in-1/4-in-1—all of which make copying more convenient.

Speedy Printing with Sharp Technology
The AR-5516 is a high-performance printer that incorporates Sharp Printer Language with Compression (SPLC) technology. SPLC effectively reduces the data size of print jobs, speeding up the transfer of data and the printing process while improving overall throughput. Another timesaving function, RIP Once/Print Many (ROPM), saves print data in the machine’s internal memory and transfers it to output at a fast rate of 16 ppm.

Built-in A3 B/W Scanning
When it comes to document management, 600 x 600-dpi B/W scanning capability on the AR-5516 is a definite efficiency booster. Scanning paper documents into digital form makes them easier to organise, saves filing space, and rids your office of unsightly paper pileups. Operation is quick and easy—simply press the Scan button, select an application, and press Start. Up to six pre-registered applications are available, including e-mail*, Microsoft® Word*, OCR*, PC-fax*, and a different application of your choice. Button Manager allows you to change/assign these destination applications and scan settings, while the optional Sharpdesk desktop document management software lets you easily organise, search, edit, and distribute your scanned documents.* These applications require additional software.

Large Paper Capacity
The AR-5516 comes standard with a 250-sheet front-loading paper tray and a 100-sheet multi-bypass feeder. Two additional types of paper drawers are available for a total paper capacity of up to 1,100 sheets.

Business Products Warranty Statement

 

This Sharp product is warranted against faults in material and manufacture for the period as stated in the table below.

In the event of any defect arising in the equipment during the warranty period, such repairs should only be carried out by the Dealer from which the unit was originally purchased or a Service Centre approved by Sharp to service this type of equipment These repairs would be carried out at no charge to the owner, subject to the conditions specified herein.

This warranty does not extend to defects or injuries caused by or resulting from causes not attributable to faulty parts or the manufacture of the product, including but not limited to, defect or injury caused by or resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, accidental damage, improper voltage, liquid spillage, vermin infestation, software, or any alterations made to the product which are not authorised by Sharp.

Please retain your sales documentation, as this should be produced to validate a warranty claim. This warranty is in addition to and in no way limits, varies or excludes any implied rights and remedies under any relevant legislation in the country of sale.

This warranty does not cover transportation to and from the Sharp Approved Service Centre. Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods. The repair of your goods may result in the loss of user generated data, please ensure that you have saved this data elsewhere prior to repair.

Australian customers: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
