*1 HDMI Version NOTE: Due to recent industry and consumer confusion regarding the various possible feature sets under different versions of HDMI, the HDMI Licensing body has issued new guidelines to manufacturers, recommending discontinuation of the use of version numbers. HDMI Licensing LLC now requests manufacturers to list the actual product features incorporated within particular products and models that have HDMI connectivity.
Within the latest HDMI versions, there are many optional features. Consumers are recommended to seek specific feature information from manufacturers or suppliers of AV equipment rather than simply relying on the generic HDMI version number.
Consumers wishing to obtain more information about HDMI guidelines are advised to visit: http://www.hdmi.org/press/press_release.aspx?prid=85
*2 When starting up with previously played disc already inserted. Start-up time may vary due to the content and condition of the disc. Standby for the Quick Start function consumes more power than regular standby mode.
