Sharp streamlines the workplace with one of the industry's smallest footprint MFDs

Published: 18 Nov 2013

Sharp will take your home office or small business to the next level with the launch of their new slick and compact Multi-Function Device (MFD) range. Recognised as one of the smallest and lightest footprints in the industry, the new MX-C250F and MX-C300W can streamline document workflow while producing superb image quality.

Designed for high performance, the 4-in-1 (copy, print, scan, fax) compact MFDs deliver a fast output of 30/25 cpm/ppm in full colour and black and white – saving valuable time when performing multiple short-run jobs, common in a small business environment. Documents can also feed through the high performance machine at lightning speed; the MX-C300W's standard-equipped 50-sheet RSPF (reversing single pass feeder) and the MX-C250F's 35-sheet SPF(single pass feeder) guarantee efficient document feeding.

Mark Beard, National Marketing Manager for Sharp Corporation of Australia said the new systems are time, money and space savers.

“The new Sharp compact MFDs boast full-colour performance and four-function efficiency with the ease of desktop convenience – meaning they don’t take up valuable floor space.

“Paper costs can also be reduced and filing space saved due to the devices Built-In-Duplex Module which efficiently prints and scans two-sided documents,” Beard said.

Print or scan from almost anywhere in the workplace via the MX-C300W’s Wireless LAN connectivity. The built-in wireless technology allows users to input or output data from Wi-Fi enabled laptops, smartphones or tablets throughout the office. Additionally, for those pressing print jobs that just can’t wait, USB devices can be connected via the USB port, allowing users to print, scan, fax or copy files instantly, even when machine access is limited.

Other features adding to the new Sharp compact MFDs efficiency include reliable security via password access, speedy and versatile fax functions, multiple distributions of scanned files and the ability to scan business cards and create business card databases.
